About Me

My career as a fisheries biologist began with my love of fishing - beginning with the docks on Lake Michigan in Chicago and continuing to the rivers of the Pacific Northwest.

Upon completion of both my undergraduate and Master's degrees in fisheries science from the University of Washington, my wife and I settled in Wenatchee, WA to raise our two children. I started my independent consulting firm after a 20+ year career as a senior fisheries biologist for a major public utility company with two hydroelectric projects on the Columbia River.

Not only has my career been intrinsically linked to rivers, my leisure time has been spent there as well, fly fishing, salmon fishing, and whitewater rafting.

I am passionate about the resource and dedicated to the science that supports it.
